We are recruiting a passionate Assistant Nursery Deputy Manager to work for a medium size Nursery group close by to Cambridge. The role is working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, supporting the Toddler room along with the management team.

The role of Nursery Deputy Manager will include:

• Supporting the Manager and Deputy Manager dividing responsibilities in the day to day management of the nursery
• Support, lead and motivate a team of Nursery practitioners and Room Leaders
• Based in the Toddler room
• Parent partnerships including managing complaints, new families and school leavers
• Driving excellent Early Years practice throughout the nursery
• Covering all aspects of deputising and managing the nursery

As the Nursery Deputy Manager you will need to have:

• Full and relevant early years qualification
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager is ideal, but not essential
• Able to lead and motivate a team, in a friendly way
• Proven success at supervising staff
• Excellent EYFS knowledge and able to implement high quality practice
• Excellent parent partnerships
